
Graduated in 1982 from the Faculty of Physics and Technology of the Ural State Technical University (Sverdlovsk). Ph.D. in Physics (2005).
Since 2002 – successively a research fellow, senior research fellow, and leading research fellow at the Institute of Solid State Chemistry of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Ekaterinburg).
Since 2025 – senior research fellow at the Laboratory of Theoretical Physics, Institute of Electrophysics of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
Author of over 260 scientific publications in the field of condensed matter theory.
Main scientific interests include the electronic and magnetic structure of condensed matter, their phase, mechanical and dynamical stability.
The primary focus is on the physico-chemical properties of superconducting systems.
